Psychology | Business | Computing | Level 3 Qualification

Diploma in International Foundation Studies (UKEB Level 3) is a programme for Higher Education that is designed to help students to secure the knowledge skills and behaviours needed to succeed in higher education and successfully progress onto the 1st year of a University.

This programme includes contemporary business/computing/psychology/medical and transferable skills focused content that not only provides opportunities for students to develop behaviours appropriate for higher education study but also for future lifelong learning.

This program in Tomorrow’s Computing, or Business builds and inspires to acknowledge and permeate appreciation, training and practice in each, in all of its students; offering a wide range of modules, that they can choose from as per their temperament and aspirations; developing creative, innovative and useful applications, that are to help, support, ease, collaborate, socialize, automate and entertain humans.

Programme Aims

Build a coherent and sound foundation in Psychology | Business | Computing,  enabling graduates to choose from a wide range of career options internationally for our learners.

Develop a wide range of intellectual and analytical abilities relevant to Psychology | Business | Computing

Develop and practice the transferable skills necessary for continual personal development and to respond positively to change during careers in Psychology | Business | Computing.

Assessments |

Examination includes seen and unseen exam.
Coursework assignments (including problem solving activities, simulations, consultancy projects, individual and group reports, as well as more conventional written forms such as essays and other discursive assignments)
Course presentations
Reflective forms of assessment (e.g. portfolios, learner logs, and peer engagement)

Teaching Methods |

Learning and teaching situations such as lectures, tutorials and seminars, live and simulated case studies. It also includes independent and group activities (class and non-class based)
Students will also get a chance to have Guest Speakers and subject specialists.

A network of visiting speakers and mentors keep you in touch with developments in the tech/creative sectors, while a team of technical demonstrators reinforce the ‘skills training’ aspects of your learning.

Eligibility |

  • GCSE in English and Mathematics (Grade C or above) or equivalent.
  • Two or more subjects at GCE A-Level or equivalent.
  • Applications from mature students and those having qualifications other than GCE A-Levels are welcomed, and will be considered on an individual basis.
  • Applicants for whom English is not a first language will be expected to demonstrate a certified level of proficiency of at least IELTS (International English Language Testing System) 6 or above.

Progression |

Students completing the International Foundation Studies in Psychology | Business | Computinng from either UKEB, PPA, or EduQual will be eligible to progress to the 1st year of either BSc (HONS) in Psychology, Computing or BA(HONS) in Business at Bath Spa University UK.

Fee |

Local students | AED 22,500 per year (after Scholarship).

International students | $ 8,810 per year.

Creative Computing

This course celebrates digital creativity. We teach you broad computing and design skills, from smartphone app building to VR game development and beyond. You learn your craft from the ground up, through a mix of workshops, tech demos, creative problem solving challenges and collaborative briefs. We believe that in this field you learn best by making, so you can look forward to creating digital work from day one.
